Change of plans...again

We all know the Air Force's unofficial moto is "hurry up & wait", but while we are waiting, our plans keep changing. Since March, we have gone from; moving in 3 months, to not moving at all, to moving in 6 months with Corby TDY for 8 weeks, to losing a TDY. The latter is the newest change. Corby was going to training in July & I was coming home during that time. He is not going to that training now & the boys & I will be home in August, not July. The good news is, Corby will be traveling down with us & we should still be able to get away for a few days to house hunt. The mover come in a week. It seemed like we put the house up so long ago, & now we are homeless in 12 days. I feel like there is so much to do, but I can't do any of it now. I need to wait until just before the movers come & seperate out what we are keeping with us. I feel if I do it now, it will just get in the way & I will get frusterated by it because we will need it before then. Enough obsessing about the move... Braylen is becoming increasingly more obedient. He is really starting to listen & obey. We used a wooden spoon a few times as a paddle & now if he isn't listening we just ask if he wants a spank & he says "no spank" & obeys. We have more recently instituted time out instead of paddling. The threat of a spank still works, but we are putting him in time out on the stairs as disipline & he hates it. Now, we threaten time out when he isn't listening & he says "no corner" & obeys. He gets the corner when he is mean to Tucker & he doesn't like it & will start to say "sorry tucky" before I even ask him too. He also says "hug mommy" while he is in the corner, I think just to make sure I'm not mad at him forever. So, our discipline is getting better. Tucker, on the other hand, is wild & crazy & doesn't really care about consequences...yet! For the last two days, Braylen has been calling me mom, not mommy. It's bothering me, he's only 2! I don't know if he is doing it out of laziness or what, but I don't like it. I don't have any new pics at the moment, but will get some soon. Well, Corby is flying late today & I need to get Tucky to bed so more to come later. Good night!
