Hello again!

So, we have been in Illinois for over two weeks now, & we have been super busy. We drove all night & arrived early in the morning. The next few days were spent catching up with family, seeing baby Brody (so cute!) & of course swimming. Braylen has turned into quite the water baby & is jumping & flipping & having a blast. Tucker likes to swim, but is also content to throw or kick the pool toys into the pool. Brody is doing great. He is eating like a horse & growing like a weed. The Dr.'s were impressed because typically heart babies don't eat or grow as well as regular newborns, but our little "porkchop" is up to 12 lbs! They are all doing great. Brett is working nights in North St. Louis & loving it. He has made 5 or so arrests & his claim to fame is finding $70,000 worth of marijuana!
Corby & I left a few days after we got here to go to Vegas to house hunt. After 2 days of looking and 30 houses, we finally found one we LOVE & had an offer accepted in less than 24 hours! All but one house we looked at was bank owned & we were warned that sometimes it can take up to a week to get an answer. It really bothered me that we would leave Las Vegas without an answer. Prayers were answered & it was all taken care of before we boarded our plane. While we were there, we caught up with Dave & Ange who are there on a "deployment" & we had dinner & saw Stomp. Awesome show. By the time we got back, April, Eric & the girls were in town, so we had a good time with them & the kids really enjoyed playing together. Corby left last Saturday to go to his upgrade in Shreveport. We should see him Labor Day weekend when we meet at the Lake. Beth was accepted to New Mexico State University & left today to pursue a masters in Fine Art. It was sad to see her go, but she'll only be 10 hours from us in Las Vegas (totally doable, right Cheryl?) April & the girls also left today, so it's a pretty empty house right now, but we'll make do. So, that's all I have for now. I'll get back to you all soon!

Enjoy the rest of your trip. Can't wait to see you in a few weeks. And yes, I think 10 hours is totally doable!
