MIA

No, we are not missing in action...the boys & i spent 5 weeks in Illinois & have had a very busy summer. The new pic on the page is of the boys throwing rocks in my parents pond & the Southern Magnolia tree we had planted in memory of Hadley.

Here's a recap of our summer:

July:

We spent a week at Black River Lodge in Lesterville, MO & had a blast with Corby's family. The boys really enjoyed spending so much time with their cousins, especially GabbyJulia or Gabby & Julia. We did lots of swimming, swinging & sliding. After the week at BRL, we went to stay with my parents. Kasey, Brett & Brody are living there as well as my parents & my brother. It was a very full house! The boys had swimming lessons & have become champion kickers & bubble blowers. Cheryl came for a visit, along with her husband Mike & their boys, Noah & Josh. We had a great time at the pool, the parade & just hanging out with them. Kelli also came for a visit, along with her husband Ryan & their kids, Sidney, Gage & Reagan. We went to the Zoo & pool with them. Mom & Dad watch the boys so I could catch up with a few friends & the boys were able to throw candy in the Troy Homecoming.

August:

We had a family trip to the Zoo & went to a Grizzlies game. The boys also got to go to the Transportation Museum & had a great time with my mom & dad on the trains. Corby's parents took them to the Botanical Gardens & they had fun with the fish & on the new Children's area. We headed back home to Corby on Aug 9 & the boys were so excited to see him.



We've been back a week & have been very busy. Corby starts Red Flag again soon, so he will be getting busy this week. Our newest development is the absence of "B" or binky's in our house. The boys went to the dentist & he said their bites are being affected, so we cut them out cold turkey. So far, it's been 4 days & we haven't had a problem. Tucker has asked for it about 2 times, but other than that, we have had no problems at bedtimes or naptimes. So far, so good. We are excitedly planning a trip to San Diego soon & will hit up the beach, The Midway, & Sea World. It's been awhile since I've posted, but not too much has gone on. We've had a pretty simple, fun summer. The boys miss Mimi, Papa, Grandma, Grandpa, Kasey, Brett, Brody, Eric, & GabbyJulia but they have adjusted well & are happy to be with daddy again.
