Surgery...take 3

Tucker went in for his 3rd surgery (2nd ear surgery) yesterday.  His tubes were clogged & not doing their job, so they needed replaced.  We left bright & early (who am I kidding...it was still dark outside) to get to the hospital.  They gave him some Versed to make him sleepy & calm & he curled up with his blanky & watched PBS & sang the ABC's (he kept getting stuck on K & would repeat it over & over...K,K,K,K,K...).  Corby had to leave to give a brief at work after they took him into the OR so I had to wrestle him alone when he came out of surgery.  He's always been upset, but this is the first time he has had Versed & did not come off it well...lots of screaming & flailing & the whole time, his eyes were closed.  He finally came off it, woke up & was fine.  He downed 3 juice boxes, kept them all down & we headed home.  His ENT, Dr Manthei, said his ears were "junk".  He's on ABX drops & we see Dr Manthei in a week.  By the time we got to Cheryl's to pick up Braylen & Kincaid (THANK YOU CHERYL), he was perfectly normal & ran around all day yesterday.
