The time had come...the bags weren't packed & he wasn't ready to go...Why? Because whoever scheduled it can't tell local time from Zulu time & scheduled his flight wrong...Yep, he would have missed his rotator, so he had to leave a day early. Well, he gets there a day earlier & will come home a day earlier, right? So, anyway, we find out on Thursday (afternoon for me, late morning for him) that he is leaving Friday instead of Saturday. So, Corby spent his last day home scrambling to get everything finished & finish packing. We had some adorable family pics taken by Cheryl at the park, then we went home & played, played, played until bedtime. So, Day 1 is over & we are on to Day 2 & I am doing better than I expected. We have been extremely blessed not having had to go through a deployment yet due to Tucker's birth & moving. I am very thankful that we have gone 7+ years without one, but that doesn't make this first one feel any better :). We have a lot going on in the next few weeks including Thanksgiving, Give Parent's a Break, a visit with Patrick & Melissa, a Christmas Party & then a 3 week trip home. After that, life is pretty open but there are a few things in the works & hopefully we will stay busy. Day 1 done, Day 2 began & 188ish to go...bring it on!
Just a little taste of our photoshoot...more to come on Christmas cards & to facbook later

Glad you made it through! And you can add a visit from David in there! He should be there for a class/conference in January and plans on stopping by to see you and the boys!
Yay visit from Patrick and Melissa! Only a few more days :)
