Something new

We still haven't had much going on here. The Nellis Air Show was this weekend. Corby had to work with the security forces for it, so David & Ange came along with me. We had breakfast at The Original Pancake House & are going back this weekend. The boys, of course, were thrilled. They got their pancakes & Tucker stole all of poor Ange's strawberries from her strawberry crepe. When she was talking to David, he would reach over & snatch them! She was good about it & helped cut them up for him. After breakfast, we drove to the base & got to skip the HUGE line & go to Corby's line. It was further north, & no one realized it was there. We spent the day watching different demo planes, seeing static planes, RC-135 (RJ Cheryl!), KC-10, KC-135, B-1, F-15, F-16, F-18, F-22, Prowler, C-130, J-Star, AWAX, & of course, the Mighty B-52. The Buff did a flyover, which brought a tear to my & Ange's eye. The two of us also got to watch it land for the first time ever & saw the "drago-shute". It kinda looked like a toy at that point! We watched the Thunderbirds, or Thunder-Chicken's as Corby calls them. The boys loved them & spent the whole show watching for them to come back around. After the Air Show, we came back to the house & Ange & David left. Corby didn't get home for almost 3 hours after we did, because all non-ID holders had to park a mile away at the race track & get bussed in. Corby helped get the busses loaded & it took forever! While we were waiting for Corby to come home, Braylen came downstairs with brown stuff all over his hands, legs & feet. By the time I figured out it was POOP & not make-up, it was starting to dry, & I had to hose him off in my shower. He has NEVER touched his poop before, but he had smeared it all over himself, yuk! Sunday, we just hung out & cleaned up the house. Corby didn't have to go back to the Air Show. He was off yesterday because of working Saturday, so Ange & I took the opportunity & went to the outlet mall. I got Braylen some sweatpants & some long-sleeve thermal type shirts. Ange had a good day with 2 pairs of jeans & a cardigan for $3.49! Awesome buy of the day. After shopping we had lunch & I picked up stuff to make our Mini-Thanksgiving dinner tonite. Corby is off today for Veterans Day & he wants to smoke a turkey for Thanksgiving, so today is our trial run. David & Ange will be driving back to Minot on Thanksgiving, so we invited them over for turkey, potatos, green beans & pumpkin pie. So, today Corby is getting the landscaping blocks to start on the backyard, lest we make the Homeowners Association angry. The boys are up playing with trains & intermittently watching Toy Story. We are going to see a Cirque du Soleil show tomorrow & I'm looking forward to that. I'm going to add Air Show pics from Ange's camera tomorrow. I didn't take any, so check back for pics soon.

I'm going to try something new every week with the blog & put up a few things about the pregnancy. I wish I had thought to do something like this with the boys, but I have some stuff in their baby books & I wasn't into blogging then. If you don't care or don't feel like reading it, it's not going to bother me. I'll put it below my posts & you can skip it. It is just to help me remember.

Week 10: I feel huge. I can fit into my maternity pants with no problem. I measured around my belly & it used to be 28 in. Now it's 31 in. I feel twice as big this time as I did with the boys. The sickness is over, yea! I can eat again. I had lost 5 lbs as of last week, but am now gaining it back. My due date so far is June 9. My Dr appt is Friday, so hopefully we should have an ultrasound & a firm due date. The boys still don't notice that I'm getting bigger & don't care if I mention "baby". I have felt some fluttering, but I know it is WAY too early to feel the baby move. I'm sure its just bubbles. I felt Braylen at 19 weeks & Tucker at 17 weeks, so probably in the next couple months that will start. So, we'll see what the Dr says and what the belly measurement is next week.
