Over last weekend, Tucker started rubbing his ears & his nose started running. He was drooling a lot too, so I was thinking molars. By Tuesday he was so terribly crabby that I called for a Dr appt on Wednesday. Of course, no appts available. So, I gave Tucker some Motrin, fed them lunch & about halfway through watching Dumbo on the DVR this is what we had. They have started watching their tv shows or movies together in the chair. They don't fight or complain & when Tucker fell asleep on Braylen's shoulder, he didn't mind a bit. It was too cute not to take a picture! Thursday, I got Tucker an appt & he has another double ear infection. She said it was an early one with the right looking worse than the left, but he is now on Augmentin & after 2 full days of his antibiotic he is a totally different boy. Today, we have no runny nose & he is perfectly happy. I think whatever he had that led to the ear infection was passed on to me. I woke up with a sore throat on Thursday & now it's a sore throat, cough & terrible congestion. I'm having a hard time sleeping when the Benadryl wears off, but am actually breathing a little easier today, so hopefully it's on it's way out. Corby said his throat is sore too, but of course Braylen is our resilient one. Besides the odd little stomach bug i don't think he has really been sick in over a year (knock on wood).
Braylen has been doing great with the potty. He is telling me when he has to go & going on his own. He has started holding it when we are out, even if he has a diaper on. Thursday we were at the Dr & he said he had to go. There was a restroom in the waiting room, but there were 2 little girls and they kept going in and out & I wasn't able to get him in. By the time we got to the bathroom, they called Tucker's name. I told Braylen that he had on a diaper & if he had to go, it was ok, I wouldn't be mad. He held it through Tucker's whole appt & was still dry when we got to the bathroom. He stood up at the big toilet for the first time & did great. Now, at home, he is standing up to pee & sitting on the "big potty" to poo. He is doing great. He still uses his froggy potty when he is upstairs, but is a big boy downstairs. He is even getting up and taking off his diaper at nap or bedtime if he has to go before he goes to sleep. He is still waking up wet in the mornings, but usually wakes up dry from naps.
They have been wearing whosever shoes they can find.

Corby has been working at Red Flag this past week. He is the lead Assessor/Agressor (I don't know)...he isn't being instructed anymore. He has worked the day shift, so he leaves around 9 or 9:30 & hasn't been getting home until 8:30/10. One week down...2 more to go. The baby & I are doing well. She moves like a crazy person, but i think she is still transverse (lying side to side). When she stretches, I can definitely tell. Mom, Dad, Kasey & Brody are coming this next weekend, so we are excited for that. The boys new favorite movie is Dumbo. I DVR'd it on Monday & they want to watch it all the time. I need to order the DVD since I haven't been able to find it in stores. Other than that, we don't have much going on.

Today, we are going to the Nascar race with the boys. Here they are modeling their ear protectors we got them. They ran around all morning with these on. Corby is up there now...they had qualifiying and practice this morning. The boys and I are waiting until closer to racetime to go. Corby is coming home with t-shirts for them & I think he is more excited than the boys are! We got tickets on ebay...4 tickets for $81. They were $37 each originally. We also have tickets for the Cup race tomorrow. We got the tickets from the squadron & have one of my friends, Wanda, and her 12 yr old daughter, Ashley coming over to watch the boys. So far, our Nascar weekend has cost us $81 + the t-shirts Corby is getting. It's nice to live close to the track. So, we are excited for this weekend. Hopefully, I keep feeling better and Corby doesn't feel any worse.

Hope the race was lots of fun, I'm sure it was. Are you still feeling better? Glad you have one resilent one at your house, we all seem to be passing it back and forth - unless you count Mike as our resilent one but since he's never home ;-) I don't know what to call him!
