I love when Braylen brings home his schoolwork. He loves school so much & can't wait to start on his homework as soon as he gets home. By the way, I asked a friend with older children how long this lasts & she told me until 3rd grade! I love going through his backpack. His teacher, Ms. Heather, is wonderful & always has fun things for them to do. Anyway, at the beginning of the year, they did a "Family Tree". I'm not sure if I ever posted anything about it, but it's a tree & it has a leaf for every member of the family. On every leaf, Braylen drew a picture of each family member & told Ms. Heather something about them & it is all on the tree. I love hearing what comes out of them when they are asked about us. So it says, "This is Daddy. He likes popcorn. This is Tucker. He likes water. This is Me. I like toys. This is Kincaid. He likes baby food. This is Mommy. She likes to go dance." Notice how it says GO dance. 1st, mommy is a terrible dancer & hardly ever does it & 2nd, I sound like a stripper with the GO in there! Oh, how I love preschool :).
Yesterday, Braylen brought home a Mother's Day card he made. On the inside were questions that he answered about me:
I really love it when my mom lets me eat candy.
My mom likes to wear a dress.
My mom always tells me to eat pizza.
The best thing she does is she loves us.
It makes her happy when I draw my name.
My mom loves to relax by sleeping.
I like it when she gives me chocolate milk.
When my mom shops, she likes to buy ...no answer to this (surprised he didn't say something about a
drink from McDonald's)!
My mom's favorite household chore is ...no answer to this (shocking because I'm such a big
cleaner..HAHA, if you've ever been over, you know that's
NOT TRUE)!
If she could go on a trip, she would go in a house.
I love my mom because I love her!
I just love hearing what they come up with!
