Change of plans

We went to the hospital on Wednesday for the amnio, hoping that we would be having a c-section on Thursday.  Kincaid didn't want to cooperate & everytime they stuck the needle in, he would squirm & kick & try to get the needle.  The Dr stuck me 3 times & barely got enough fluid to send off.  After waiting all day, the results came back as immature.  Ugh...I was really thinking we would be good & would be having a baby the next day.  I wasn't disappointed that he wasn't ready & I definitely don't want to force him to be delivered if he wasn't ready.  I think my disappointment came from feeling like I've been pregnant for 18 months & just being ready to finally bring my baby home.  I went back to the Dr today, & Kincaid looks wonderful.  I am on the schedule for a c-section on Feb 4th, just 1 day shy of 39 weeks.  Now, I just have to be patient for 6 more days.  The good news is...even though Red Flag will still be going on next week, Corby was able to rearrange his schedule & be off while I'm in the hospital & he'll even get some leave after we get home, which wouldn't have happened if Kincaid was born yesterday.  So, 5 days & counting now & we will have a beautiful, healthy baby boy!
