So, I totally forgot to blog for Tucker's birthday! Poor thing, he's already experiencing middle child syndrome. We had a party for him at Chuck E Cheese & I think he had a great time. We are still working on potty training him, but most of it is my fault because of the pregnancy...I just am not ready to deal with it right now. We'll get it taken care of soon, it's not a big deal to any of us right now. At his 3 year check up today, he was 38 inches & 32 pounds. He can count to 20, say the ABC's & recognizes some colors. He is doing great developmentally, but the pediatrician noticed that he has "high rise testicles"...they are descended, but not all the way into the scrotum. There could be a risk for tangling &/or infertility, so he is being referred to Urology. He has an appt on Feb. 11th. The pediatrician said they most likely the Urologist would stretch them & watch & wait or he could have surgery to have them tacked down. Poor thing! We'll just have to wait until the 11th & see what the Dr says. He has a follow up with his ENT on Wednesday, but the Dr confirmed today that his tubes are still in, so we'll see the ENT & follow up again in 3 months. He has been doing wonderfully with his ears & hasn't been sick since August. It is such a difference from the first part of last year & I believe we did the right thing in having his tonsills/adenoids out & tubes in. I felt it was the right thing at the time, but it's nice to have it confirmed. We love you, Tucker. We have enjoyed the last 3 years & can't wait to see what comes next!
